FAIZAN E MADINA COMMUNITY HUB

In the name of Allah the most Beneficent the most Merciful.
Project Faizan E Madina Masjid (Community Hub) based at The Old Nursery building on Cobden Street.
The project is funded by Peterborough City Council, Household Support Fund. This project was iniatiated in November 2022 and has seen regular attendance of around 30-50 families a week.

Food is sourced directly from wholesalers and purchased in bulk to allow us to effectively save and provide a wider variety of non perishable foods.
The second phase of this project has just now begun which will run untill March 2024 InshaAllah. We are seeing a more diverse range of clients every week including those from Guinea Bassao, Pakistani, Indian, Romanian, Portuagease, Mexican, Sudanese, Latvian, English and Albanian users.
The project is open to everyone and people are coming from as far as Paston and Hampton to get help. The parcels are very popular and we have received positive feedback from users with gratitude.

We have a small delivery service which is only available after we have confirmed that the client is unable to travel to the support hub.
Since the opening of the Support Hub @ Faizan-E-Madinah we have helped clients with issues around housing, health, benefits, domestic abuse, immigration, education and even managed to find one client employment, a place to rent and sign posted the family to city council services too.
Our volunteers are from different professional backgrounds and are able to utilise their skills and knowledge to help anyone who comes for advice.
We are open every Thursday at 10.30am
